VA Educational Benefits- Pending VA Payments
In accordance with 38 U.S.C. § 3679(e), Ranger College permits any covered individual receiving educational assistance under Chapter 31, Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E), or Chapter 33, Post-9/11 GI Bill®, to attend or participate in their course of education during the period beginning on the date the student provides Ranger College with a certificate of eligibility or other acceptable documentation of entitlement and ending on the earlier of:
The date payment from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is made to Ranger College; or Ninety (90) days after Ranger College certifies tuition and fees following receipt of the certificate of eligibility.
During this period, Ranger College will not impose a penalty on the covered individual because of delayed VA funding. This includes assessing late fees, denying access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities, or requiring the student to borrow additional funds due to the delayed disbursement of VA educational benefits.
