Campaign Goal: $55,000,000

As Ranger College approaches its 100th anniversary, we are proud to launch the “Building the Next Century” Capital Campaign, a historic, multi-phase initiative to transform our campuses, enhance student life, and strengthen the foundation for the next 100 years of growth, innovation, and excellence.

This $55 million campaign represents the most ambitious facilities plan in Ranger College history. Through this initiative, we will modernize existing spaces, construct new facilities, and expand opportunities for students and communities across our service region.

Comprehensive dorm updates including new roofing, windows, flooring, HVAC, and landscaping.

The Quad Dorm Hall Refresh

Quick, high-impact makeover including new siding, lighting, flooring, and paint — fully completed.

Pathways Center Renovation

Structural and system upgrades to create a modern, safe, and student-centered support hub.

Rodeo Multi-Use Facility & Baseball Structures

$1,297,000

A multi-use facility on our new rodeo grounds and upgraded baseball facilities to expand athletic and community engagement.

Cosmetology Center (Old Business Building Renovation)

$1,250,000

Creation of a new workforce training hub for cosmetology and salon management.

Comanche County Center & Ranger Fire Academy

$18,000,000

Major renovation of six facilities to create a regional campus for academics, nursing, dining, fitness, and a premier fire training academy.

Transformative Impact

The Building the Next Century Campaign will:

  • Expand capacity with over 250 new beds and modernized residence halls.

  • Elevate athletics and wellness through professional-grade training and competition spaces.

  • Advance workforce readiness with expansion of academic programs in cosmetology, nursing, and fire science.

  • Strengthen student success with modernized support centers and study spaces.

  • Revitalize community partnerships through shared-use facilities, events, and training programs.

  • Preserve and renew historic spaces, maintaining Ranger College’s character while ensuring safety, accessibility, and sustainability.

Each project plays a strategic role in the college’s long-term growth plan, positioning Ranger College as a leader in rural higher education and workforce development across Texas.

Investment & Funding Strategy

Funding for the campaign will be achieved through a combination of:

  • Naming and sponsorship opportunities

  • State and federal workforce grants

  • Revenue bonds and institutional investment

  • Corporate and foundation partnerships
