About

Jonathan Roach is the chair of the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from East Texas Baptist University and a master’s degree from Midwestern State University. His primary focus in study has been Jacksonian America, the Antebellum period, the American Civil War, and pre-WWI intellectual developments. He enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with his family and pets.
