Whats Going on at Ranger

In case you have not heard, Ranger College has started a rodeo team. My name is Tom Reeves and I am the rodeo coach.

I have twenty-five years of professional rodeo experience. My goal as a rodeo coach will be to help you reach your full potential in and out of the arena. I am convinced that a college education is essential. Education is one thing that is yours and cannot be lost or taken away. I am also convinced that I can help you in your rodeo career by teaching you how to compete mentally and physically as well as how to enter and how to gain sponsors.

Ranger College is located in Ranger on Interstate 20, half way between Ft. Worth and Abilene and 40 miles north of Stephenville, TX. Ranger College is a two-year college that offers a full curriculum of academic and workforce education courses as well as outstanding athletic programs in football, baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball and of course now rodeo.

We have several ways to help young people with the cost of a college education. We have federal grants for those who qualify, athletic rodeo scholarships, and the college work-study program, to name a few.

If you are interested in going to college and participating in rodeo on the college level, please fill out the enclosed questionnaire and mail it back to me. After receiving the questionnaire, I will get in touch with you about setting up a visit to our school.

I hope to hear from you, and good luck the rest of this year both in school and in the rodeo arena.
